Application Examples

  • Bacteria
    classification

    Classification is possible due to color information such as hue and saturation, shape information such as the area and circularity, and gloss and halo information.

  • Spiral
    plating

    A counting function is included that supports spiral plating, enabling automatic counting - from the outside to the center - in a grid pattern. Smear amounts can also be set for each grid to meet a variety of conditions.      

  • Blocking circle
    testing

    Drug susceptibility testing using paper discs or cylinders is also supported. This allows for quick, non-contact measurement while also making it possible to compare results against reference values for determining susceptible (S), infected (I), and recovered (R) samples.

  • Well plate
    counting


    Automatic counting is also possible with well plates, with results displayed for each well.
